Demonstrates enhanced security reliability and competitiveness through the attainment of an international standard in information security
Seoul, November 22, 2024 – MORAI, a leading provider of autonomous driving simulation platforms that verify the safety and reliability of autonomous system, announced that it has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for its Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). The certification was issued by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), an internationally accredited certification body.
ISO/IEC 27001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an information security management system. This globally recognized standard helps organizations systematically manage and mitigate information security risks, providing best practices to reduce the likelihood of security breaches.
The latest version of the standard, ISO/IEC 27001:2022, was jointly revised and published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) in 2022. It incorporates updated requirements to address modern security threats and adapt to new business environments. To achieve this certification, organizations must comply with 93 detailed control requirements covering organizational, human, physical, and technical security measures.

This certification underscores the company’s commitment to protecting customer data and ensuring robust security in its information management systems. It also enables MORAI to deliver even greater confidence to its global customers by providing secure virtual validation solutions.
MORAI plans to leverage this achievement to strengthen its efforts in global certification and information security practices. As part of its ESG initiatives, the company will establish a sustainable management framework while further enhancing its security capabilities.
MORAI currently offers simulation platforms that validate the safety and reliability of autonomous and unmanned systems. Building on its success in Korea’s autonomous driving market, the company is expanding its business into the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. This certification enhances MORAI’s ability to deliver trusted solutions to both domestic and international customers.
Previously, MORAI also achieved ISO 26262 certification from SGS-TÜV Saar, a global standard for assessing and managing functional safety in automotive electronic and electrical systems. This certification affirmed that MORAI’s simulation platform meets the safety requirements for developing and operating autonomous vehicles.
